The unusual demonstration was held as part of the next campaign of the Urbanudismo movement, the purpose of which is to call for the full acceptance of the naked female body. The participants themselves stated that their action has neither a sexual subtext nor a provocative component.

The protest performance lasted only a few minutes before the police arrived. She was called by passers-by who felt some discomfort. One man's face showed that this was probably the strangest day of his life: when one of the activists sat down next to him at the bus stop, he just got up and left, amazed by such an unusual combination of circumstances. "It's time to get out of here, or my wife will see it on TV and I'll get hit on the first number" — judging by the expression on his face, about such thoughts were in his head at that moment.

The activists called for the promotion of ideas of tolerance in society, as well as for the full acceptance of our rights and freedoms. "We want society to accept the naked female body as something acceptable, and not as some kind of perversion with sexual overtones," said Urbanudismo spokeswoman Paula Brindisi.

The protesters had to stop the action when the police told them that such demonstrations could not be held here. "We came here because a lot of people turned to the police with a demand to stop these actions that cause them discomfort," said one of the police officers.
