Every year thousands and even millions of women become victims of domestic violence, and not every one of them manages to survive.
Hazret
In the photo, the Hazret Meta family house. She got married at 17, but was killed by her husband at 18. At that time, they had been married for only six months.
Hazret grew up in a family with eight children. She was the eldest daughter, but she never received an education. The husband's family claims that it was suicide, but Hazret's relatives are sure that she was killed.
Denise
Denise Aktash's diary, in which she wrote: "You lost me" to your boyfriend. He killed her. At that time she was 21 years old, her boyfriend Lokman Barysh Celik was 40. Denise wanted to become an actress and was preparing for entrance exams.
Deniz is one of 284 women killed in Turkey in 2015.
Denise's mother is waiting for the results of the eighth murder hearing in the Antalya court. She fears that the criminal will not receive punishment.

Burka
Five-year-old Tanem in her new home in Manisa, where she lives with her grandparents and aunts. Her mother Burku Akiol was killed by her husband at the age of 22. Burku was eight months pregnant.

Pinar
Pinar Unlur's mother in her house in Izmir. Pinar was killed at the age of 29 after she refused to become Okan Ozparilti's girlfriend. Before the murder, Okan wrote on his Facebook page: "I will make one last show." Pinar's mom has cancer.

Melike and her grandmother Gulender. Sedef was killed in her boyfriend's car. The criminal received a life sentence after 12 hearings. Gulender is satisfied with the result, but she needs to grow Melike.

Esin
Tillo Fortress in Siirt, where 25-year-old Esin Gunesh was thrown into the abyss by her husband. She was going to get a divorce. At first, her husband claimed that she fell there by negligence, but the girl's family did not agree with this. Together with women's rights activists, Esin's relatives spent two years trying to prove the murder. Guven was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Fethiye
Irmak, Fethiye Gokcen's daughter, looks at her mother's wedding photo. At the age of 32, she was killed by her second husband Ali Gokcen. Fethiye wanted to divorce him. Irmak is her daughter from her first marriage.
Mukhterem
Six-year-old Emin, the son of Mukhterem Gechmen, at Aunt Chiddem's house. 31-year-old Mukhterem was killed by her husband Serdar right at work, in an Istanbul beauty salon.
