Today, the names of the laureates of World Press Photo, the most prestigious annual award for photojournalists, have become known. The Associated Press photographer Burhan Ozbiliji, who captured the moment of the murder of the Russian ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov, was recognized as the photo of the year. In total, more than 80 thousand images taken in 125 countries of the world were presented to the jury.
