What is this fraught with and why it is so important to send new laundry to the laundry after purchase, experts said. If you do not want to earn skin inflammations and a whole bunch of diseases, we advise you to listen to them.
The underwear you just bought looks absolutely clean, but is it really so? British skin care experts have told why even the underwear that was sold in a closed package needs to be washed before you put it on.
A preliminary survey was conducted among 1000+ Britons. So experts found out that only 31% of customers wash their underwear after they were taken from the store. The rest of the respondents replied that they put it on immediately. This, according to experts, is not only unhygienic, but also very dangerous to health.
The consequences can be different — from skin dermatitis to serious diseases of the genitals. Dyes that are used in the production of underwear often cause irritation and allergies. And customers who tried on underwear before you can leave "gifts" in the form of all kinds of fungal infections.
Even a new bra needs to be washed before use. Unless, of course, you want to earn irritation from dyes or, even worse, mastitis caused by a bacterial or fungal infection. Nursing mothers should pay special attention to this rule: in their case, contact with untreated underwear can lead to breast inflammation (mastitis).
With unwashed panties, the situation is even more acute. If you put them on without pretreatment, there is a risk of getting staphylococcus, vaginal candidiasis (thrush) and a number of other sexual diseases.
Moreover, according to experts, even unwashed shirts and trousers can be dangerous to health: factory dyes often cause irritation and allergies. Therefore, it is recommended to wash any clothes after purchase.
It's the same with shoes. Already during the fitting, you should take care of your health and use socks, otherwise there is a risk of earning a fungal infection. Especially dangerous are shoes from the showcase, which hundreds of other buyers have measured before you. Such shoes are also recommended to be washed, treated with a steam generator or, at least, a disinfectant spray.
