In the story, the woodcutter Red (Nicolas Cage) lives with his wife Mandy in the woods. Everything goes smoothly until a real evil appears in their habitat in the form of a hellish biker gang. After seeing Red's wife once, the gang leader falls in love with her at first sight and forces his charges to kidnap the woman. When the job is done, Mandy is drugged and burned in a ritual ceremony. Red takes the only right decision in his opinion: to take revenge.
