The creator of the popular mobile application for learning foreign languages LinguaLeo Ainur Abdulnasyrov killed his sister, stabbing her 8 times. According to preliminary data, the tragedy arose on the basis of aggressive behavior of a 47-year-old woman suffering from schizophrenia. The killer did not hide from law enforcement and confessed to the crime himself.

According to Ainur Abdulnasyrov, on May 2, 2019, he was in the kitchen of their shared family home in the village of Dyurtyuli when his sister unexpectedly attacked him.

Defending himself from a mentally ill woman, the programmer stabbed her several times with a knife that happened to be in his hands. From wounds to the neck, which caused severe bleeding, the victim died on the spot. The body was discovered a few hours later by the Abdulnasyrovs' mother, who returned home.
