The competition, in which wildlife Photographers of the Year take part, is 54 years old. This year's winners will be announced on October 16, and viewers will be given the opportunity to look at the shortlist with the best wildlife images of this year.

From the works of 100 finalists, 14 frames were selected, claiming prizes. The secrets of underwater life, the grace of big cats and the entertainment of baby animals – in the works of future winners lies all the charm of wild fauna, its sometimes shocking views and a riot of colors.
