The map includes objects mentioned in the books by Andrzej Sapkowski, the Netflix series, CD Projekt RED games and comics about the universe.
During the development of the map and the location of regions, mountains and large rivers, geographers focused on existing atlases and localities. At the same time, they tried to realistically convey the borders of states and the water resources of the Witcher's world. Now it will be much easier to find Kaer Morhen.
A detailed map of the Witcher universe was created by the staff of the Department of Political and Historical Geography of the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies of the University of Warsaw. University geographers release some interesting map every month, this time they decided to work with a fictional world.
The map contains objects mentioned in all works: books, Netflix series, games and comics. The general layout of the regions and mountain ranges is consistent with the atlases that fans developed earlier.
The map is so detailed that it shows the exact terrain, the location of islands and cities classified by the number of inhabitants. At the same time, the atlas has differences with previous works — the authors have changed the location and size of the Skellige islands.
