The American portal BuzzFeed published an article in which it shows what kind of housing can be rented for one thousand dollars a month (about 62 thousand rubles) in different countries of the world.

Of course, the price depends on the economic situation in the country, on the area and the amenities offered. In Moscow, for example, with this money you can rent a two-room apartment even in the city center with a good square footage and not too far from the metro.

Tokyo, Japan — $975. Price in local currency: 106 thousand yen per month. Size: studio apartment. District: Shinjuku. There is a bathroom. It is unlikely that a person will fit in it, but still it is a bathroom.
