When we flush the toilet, it seems that at this moment the world around us becomes cleaner. But scientists from The University of Colorado, USA, proved the opposite. Using high-tech equipment, they showed what happens in the toilet when we press the flush button. Their little research will surely make everyone think, and some people even reconsider the rules for using the bathroom.

American microbiologists installed a bright green laser in the toilet, directing its rays at the toilet bowl. After that, they washed off the water with the lid open and recorded everything in photos and videos. It turns out that when the flow of water from the tank rushes into the bowl of the toilet bowl, splashes rise 2 meters above it.

Pundits have found that water particles propagate at a speed of 2 meters per second. It is simply impossible to hide from them in the toilet room. At the same time, it is still worth hiding from this water suspension. The analysis of the splashes showed that they contain a huge number of bacteria, including those dangerous to humans.

There are also fecal particles in the inconspicuous but powerful toilet geyser. And there is also an admixture of urine and many other not too pleasant ingredients.
