Stanislav Savin writes: “Spring has come. And, finally, my photographs from my autumn trip to Italian Tuscany, a beautiful region sung by the classics of Russian and world art, have ripened. And how many photos were taken here - it's hard to imagine! I am no exception - during the trip 3 times the place on the flash drives ended. Now 800 multi-colored pictures are burning on the screen in front of me, and I don’t know from which side to approach the material. After all, each frame is fraught with the uniqueness of Tuscan landscapes, so unfamiliar, and at the same time cozy and close to a Russian person. 4 times I took up writing a post, 4 times I gave up ... This is the fifth attempt. I hope you appreciate my work. :)"

Warm autumn in Tuscany

1. For 10 days spent in a friendly company, we managed to see a lot and it is unlikely that we will be able to fit everything into one post. I want to tell you about the picturesque valleys, about the cities and about the place where we lived. But now I invite you for a walk through the classic landscapes of Tuscany! However, it doesn't make them any less beautiful.

2. Before this trip, I knew very little about Tuscany, I didn’t even look at other people’s photos. Recently, one of the main information resources for me has become Daniil Korzhonov's blog satorifoto, which manages to visit so many beautiful places in a year that few people dream of. From him I basically drew information about Tuscany, and thanks to him this trip took place in October 2013, where Daniil was the organizer of the photo tour, and I was a modest driver of one of the crews that rolled the tour participants through the hills.

3. The beginning of October is the off-season period in Tuscany. The crops have already been harvested from the fields, and the land has been plowed for new crops. I was annoyed by this fact, expecting to see the golden fields of dry grass, but instead I had to run ankle-deep in mud in search of a shot. In vain I worried. The sky invariably rescued the frame! Thanks to the vast expanses, clouds were born before our eyes, it was raining on a nearby hill, and the sun was shining nearby. Nothing prevents the currents of wind and water from carefully caring for this valley.

7. The evening sun comes out and the long shadows of the cypresses lie on the plowed field. Much has been said about the fact that the fruits of human labor and nature live here in amazing harmony. And all this is true. Even a plow thrown by someone, surrounded by a grove of cypress trees, looks like an art installation.

8. For a couple of days the sun completely disappeared behind the clouds. But even then the sky gave unusual gifts. At such moments, you completely forget that all your pants are in the mud, and you climb even further, chasing the frame.

13. Sometimes, clouds poured onto the earth not only as rain, but also as a rainbow. Then our whole team temporarily went crazy, and rushed through the fields 2 times faster. Here is Anton rostovfoto running towards the masterpieces.

18. But the sunrises in Tuscany were much more gorgeous than the sunsets. This is most likely to blame for the fogs with which the earth soars abundantly in the morning in autumn. The hot springs located in the Val d'Orcia also contribute to the formation of clouds - this is the name of the area around which we were basically looking for plots. Almost every dawn is a gift. Before, I would not have believed that it is so beautiful in reality. But as it turned out, the main thing is to be at the right time in the right place.

19. You have to get up at 5 in the morning, arrive on time at the place, set up a tripod and wait ... Anton is currently busy with this. And nature will thank those who are ready to wait for their shot.

22. One of the most replicated Tuscan landscapes is Villa Belvedere! It really blends in beautifully with the landscape. The first rays of the sun gently cling to the hills, and the damp earth instantly responds with a warm color. Light creates color.

35. An amazing property of Tuscan nature - it seems to place any urban product in it, and in an instant it will be ennobled by the surrounding landscape and acquire an unprecedented photogenicity. What can I say - even we ourselves suddenly became interested in each other in the frame! :*)

39. Harvest in those parts is removed twice a year. And in fact, in October, real spring reigned there. And 2 weeks after the departure, the fields were again covered with a fresh green carpet. I found only the very beginning of "spring". View of the Val d'Orcia through the wheat grass.

And here you can clearly see how the sun changes all the colors in the picture, adds volume and emotions. Although the first option has the right to life. How do you think?

47. Concluding my impressions of Tuscany, I would like to highlight the main thing - admiration for how a person can live in harmony with nature, without disfiguring it, but carefully caring for and decorating it. This is what our country, our neighbors, Ukraine and Belarus, Crimea, which is generally located on the same lane as Tuscany and is so similar to it in landscapes, lacks!
