Amy told the editor of Vice Broadly about her work, life and why she calls herself Michael Jordan in sex.

The most popular prostitute in the world—famous brothel called Moonlight Bunny Ranch is not an average prostitute with the appearance of Marilyn Monroe, who came to the sex services industry from the world of porn. Amy Air Force is a former US Air Force servicewoman who says she "fucks like a drill sergeant," earns hundreds of thousands of dollars annually, and from time to time involuntarily knocks on the walls during orgasm. This year, the veteran of the sex service celebrates 25 years in the carnal pleasures industry.
"I've spent 25 years fucking and doing blowjobs," she declares on the spot. — I'm Michael Jordan in sex. I have a real talent, like Tiger Woods or Shaquille O'Neal." "Why do I use only black people as an example?" she laughs. "There are simply no white people who are so good at what they do!" Amy laughs outright.
Amy looks like a singer from the 60s, but talks like her namesake Amy Winehouse. A few minutes after the conversation starts, she starts laughing in the pauses between sentences. At first she looks like she took drugs, but over time it becomes clear that this is all just a defense mechanism of the psyche trying to cope with stress. Through constant giggles, Amy talks in detail about how she was treated for post-traumatic stress disorder, which she earned when she served in the Air Force in the second half of the 1980s.
"I think PTSD was caused by all the abuse I was subjected to as a child. In addition, it was aggravated by the difficulties of military service. Over time, it accidentally turned out that I could claim disability, because the service seriously worsened my health," Amy said.
However, not everything Amy faced threatened her psyche. Although the lion's share of her stories sounds very unusual. In the 1990s, for example, she worked in a brothel for gangsters. After one of her clients couldn't finish, he asked her if he could bring an inflatable toy from the car. "Go where the fuck you need to go," Amy told him. After a while, her client returned with an inflatable dinosaur, and Amy, chuckling, attached it somehow to herself. They continued, but this time the man did not succeed. As a result, he jumped up, grabbed a rubber toy and attached himself directly to it: everything worked out like clockwork for him here. "He was like a jackhammer!" — Amy choked with laughter, remembering. And this client, according to her, came to Amy for a long time with his inflatable dinosaur.
Amy grew up on a ranch in Ohio. "I was an ordinary kid, a typical Midwestern girl, lying in the hayloft and smoking cigarettes," she says.
In the first grade, when she noticed how boys were spying on girls, Amy suddenly came up with a way to strengthen her position in the children's society. "The girls didn't like it — they just went crazy just hearing about the peeping. However, I saw this as a kind of supply and demand. The boys wanted to look up their skirts, but the girls wouldn't let them do it. But I had a skirt. So I told the guys: “Give me the money your parents gave you for ice cream, and then you can see my panties.” And the boys agreed. And I really loved ice cream," Amy said. She believes that these childish amusements of hers were a kind of first step on the way to prostitution.
Amy continued to sell her body in her youth, however, on a more serious level. However, at the beginning of the third decade of her life, she decided to go to serve in the Air Force: it was, as she herself said, still an order of magnitude safer than prostitution. From 1985 to 1990, she served in the Philippines. Amy says she received a lot of awards at that time. "I just dutifully took on tasks that others didn't want to take on. Then I saw a lot of things that I prefer not to remember now. Because of this, I drank like a shoemaker," Amy shared.
From 1993 to 2000, Amy worked in so-called "closed hotels", from where girls were forbidden even to leave without asking. She describes her pimp as a formidable, violent man who completely controlled her life. When she managed to escape from there for the first time, she spent the first few weeks wandering around the city and drinking alcohol and drugs without restraint, although she had money to rent an apartment.
In the late 1990s, Amy even decided to become a real estate agent, but it didn't work out either. "One day I was in Bellagio, where I was going to visit a salon to put my hair in order. In the salon, I accidentally ran into Dennis Hof, the owner of the Bunny Ranch brothel, and his friend Ron Jeremy. They came to Bellagio for the AVN Awards (the American magazine Adult Video News presents awards for achievements in the creation of porn films. — Ed.). We started a conversation, and although I didn't know much about porn at the time, and had no idea who these two were, I still decided to hang out with them," Amy said.
During the time spent with these two, Amy learned that Dennis runs a famous brothel, where the rules were much more liberal than in those institutions where she worked before. As a result, Dennis persuaded her to go to work for him, in which he was helped, among other things, by Madame Suzette, who performed the functions of a "mom" pimp in the brothel.
"It took me seven months to decide on a "change" of the owner. My pimp at the time was quite a dangerous type, so I was afraid that he would kill me and dump my body somewhere in the desert. His brothels were even named after the girls he killed. But Suzette guaranteed that I would be safe at Bunny Ranch, so one day I just packed up and ran to them. I started serving wealthy clients, and I even had to stop drinking," Amy recalls.
Amy managed to make most of her fortune at the Bunny Ranch brothel thanks to various things: partly due to the refusal of alcohol, partly because Amy was smarter and more cunning than most of the other girls, and partly due to the fact that the moths working for Dennis could determine their own price. The average price for sex with a prostitute ranged from $ 200 to $ 500, but one day Amy found out that one of the girls earns $10,000 per night with a client. "Then I thought, man, if she can, why can't I?" she says. Then Amy raised the price for her services to 3 thousand dollars per hour. At that time, nobody at Bunny Ranch asked for that much.
Amy has also achieved some success in using media to attract customers. In the 2000s, she even pretended to be a porn star, creating a fake porn magazine called Air Force Amy Magazine: pornstars could claim 5 thousand dollars an hour. These days, Amy uses Twitter, instant messengers and even LinkedIn.
When new girls come to the brothel, Amy likes to teach them certain subtleties of the profession and specific techniques. "Every girl should have her own customer base. Some clients have been coming to me since the very first days of my work at Bunny Ranch. When they email me, I just can't not answer them," Amy said.
"I can honestly admit that I have achieved everything myself. No one helped me. I think it was the right thing to do. God has kept me alive for all these years. There must be some reason that I look so cool after spending 25 years in these damn brothels. I survived by getting out of the mud into princes, and it's cool that I can still do what I love," Amy believes.
