Very fat cat Wilford — almost 13 kilos of cute in search of a new home

A cat, whose belly turned out to be as charming as his personality, got to the city of Washington, USA, for overexposure! A cat named Wilford weighs 12.7 kilograms — according to the calculations of his temporary owners, it's almost like three cats! Wilford's healthy weight is half of his current weight, so the cat is slowly losing weight. He happily chases toys and other small things with his paw and waits for a permanent home to be found for him.

Now the cat is being helped to lose weight — after all, he weighs 12.7 kilograms. After moving to a new house, Wilford began to refuse to eat — stress affected him so much. He had to pick up food for a long time until he found one that returned his appetite to the chubby. In addition, during the examination by veterinarians, the cat was found to have other sores that also need to be treated.

On overexposure, they calculated how much Wilford weighs in ordinary cats. He weighs about as much as the local cat Dora (3.8 kilograms) and two other cats (each 4.3 kilograms) combined.

According to calculations, the normal weight for Wilford would be half of his current form — about 6 kilograms

But often Wilford is too lazy even to eat. Sprawling on your back with your paws and tail outstretched is Wilford's favorite pose! Now fat Wilford is looking for a new home where he would feel at ease.

Wilford lives on overexposure in a house where there are other cats, and this makes him a little nervous. His temporary owners hope that a new home will be found for this big boy as soon as possible, in which he will be cared for and cherished — but within the norm!
