Two-story America: who are these Americans?

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/two-story-america-who-are-these-americans.htmlOnce upon a time there was Alexander Belenky. Skipped school, worked as a journalist, tried to become a successful PR man. It didn't work out, and thank God. Instead, Sasha became a professional traveler — together with a camera and a wild desire to talk about places where the foot of an "ordinary tourist" does not set foot, Belenky traveled more than half the world.
In mid—March, Alexander published his first book, Two-Story America. This is not an ordinary story about the country and the main places worth looking at — this is a book about Americans, kind and sympathetic, ready to help. To write it, Sasha traveled the whole country like a savage, visited 48 of the 50 states, met new people every day and basically did not live in hotels. Instead, I tried to stay with the locals to literally immerse myself in real American culture.

From the description of the book "Two-Story America" by Alexander Belenky
Alexander Belenky, author
In mid-March, a book presentation was held in the smart space "Devorkasi". Even it seemed a bit "American": without too much officiousness, Belenky told about how he came up with the idea of a "Two-Story America", thanked the guys who helped "survive" the first experience of creating a printed book. While the guests were chatting, the author tirelessly signed the first copies. For the presentation, the chefs from Just Catering organized an amazing table with real American snacks, and the Moscow Brewing Company generously poured the best beer in Russia.
