By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/travel-as-a-cure-for-depression1.htmlThere are a lot of ways to deal with depression. Gym workouts, shopping, a busy work schedule, meetings with friends or gastronomic delights - everyone chooses something that helps to distract from heavy thoughts. 26-year-old Michael Loffer has found his cure for longing — travel. Michael not only left for three years, but also photographed all the places where he managed to visit. And as the photographer confessed, traveling breathed new vitality into him.
You may not agree with the idea that he really suffered from depression during such a seemingly expensive and enjoyable pastime. But the photographer insists that such wonderful trips were successful for him thanks to thrift – he prefers to save both at home and while traveling. And unlike most photographers who use expensive SLR cameras, Michael shoots with a $300 Nikon AW100.
