The Third Meshchanskaya is one of the very first and most significant erotic films in Soviet culture. Director Abram Room managed to combine in it a high-quality acting, excellent camera work and, most importantly, a deep idea.

A young man succumbs to the first spell of a charming and mysterious guy named Paradise. The girl finds her lover with Paradise in his soul, and they are not at all busy rubbing each other's backs ... Although this would be strange.

When the young people meet again, a stormy romance breaks out between them. And neither Jules' husband nor their joint child is able to prevent this. Afraid of losing Catherine forever, Jules allows the "doves" to live together. So the three of them, plus baby Sabina, find themselves under the same roof.
