He started growing them out after a school teacher scolded a friend of his for a broken nail. The teacher told them that they would not know the value of a nail until they started growing their own.
That's how it all started. 62 years have passed, now Sridhar knows the value of long nails. Because of his decoration, he had difficulty finding a wife, and also lost his job.
But it was worth it, right? Now Chillal has broken the world record for the longest nails!
