It was assumed that expensive sports facilities would host major international competitions for many more years, which promises good profits from tourism. But only six months have passed, and there is no trace of the former brilliance. The Olympic Park is rapidly turning into ruins. How did it happen?

The Ministry of Sports is sinning for a political crisis. The problem is that contracts for the construction and maintenance of facilities were concluded with private individuals, and after the government changed, these agreements were canceled. When the new ones will be signed, God knows.

At the same time, the longer stadiums remain in disrepair, the more expensive it will be to restore them. However, the Ministry of Sports simply does not have money, as well as clear plans for the future. So far, they have limited themselves to closing the entrance to the park and putting armed guards to protect the buildings from looters.

It is surprising how quickly sports facilities have deteriorated. For example, the coating has already peeled off on the bike racing site, and the frame is overgrown with rust. It is clear that without proper care the building is getting old, but not in six months! Moreover, the climate in Brazil is favorable.

Experts, however, are not surprised. They say it couldn't have been any other way. During the construction, the authorities saved on every little thing, and it is no wonder that the stadiums instantly fell into disrepair.
