On July 6, the World Kiss Day is celebrated. On this day, we have collected for you the most famous kisses captured in films, TV series, news and art.

"From now on and forever and ever"

"Gone with the Wind"

"Brotherly kiss"

This is Dmitry Vrubel's graffiti-one of the most famous on the Berlin Wall. The drawing, created in 1990, depicts Leonid Brezhnev and Erich Honecker kissing "in a brotherly way". The graffiti was erased in March 2009. (Steve Eason / Get­ty Images)

"This wonderful life"

In the 1946 film, James Stewart played a resident of a small town who found himself in such despair that he was ready to commit suicide. He marries his long-time love Donna Reed. He is saved from a deadly step from the bridge by a guardian angel who shows him what life would have been like if he had not been born.

"The Lady and the Tramp"

A cute Cocker Spaniel named Lady fell in love with a Stray mongrel from the street. Their famous kiss is remembered by everyone who watched this cartoon – they ate spaghetti, grabbed the same one, and met in the middle. (Everett Collection)

"Breakfast at Tiffany's"

"The Princess Bride"

"Planet of the Apes"

"Diary of memory"

One of the first series that openly promoted the rights of gays and lesbians – "Roseanne" - aired in 1994. In one of the episodes, Roseanne Barr and Mariel Hemingway kissed in a gay bar. It was one of the first kisses of a same-sex couple on TV. (ABC)
