This continued up until Freddy accidentally stumbled upon one of the service stations in the Midwest.
The result of this meeting was a brilliant series of portraits of mechanics, reproducing famous paintings of the Renaissance.
"The reincarnation of the paintings in the pictures was a challenge I'm looking forward to, says Fabrice. I wanted to be respectful to the appearance of the originals, but had to come up with a conceptual twist to create something new."
