He gained worldwide fame thanks to a series of photographs of various corners of the Earth taken from the air: the project "Earth seen from the Sky" (Eng. Earth from the Air; 1995). The book of the same name was published in Russian in 2002. Artus-Bertrand has published about 60 books with photographs taken from a height.
In total, 3 million books with his photographs have been sold in the world. (Watch Part 2)
