By good tradition, all the events of the festival are completely free. Therefore, it remains only to choose an activity to your liking and come to the site on time.
For example, a master class in floristry. You will not only be taught how to make wonderful flower arrangements or decorate a festive table, but also be sure to give your creation with you. All this is accompanied by a wonderful spring atmosphere and indescribable floral aromas.
There is a spring gardening school on Tverskoy Boulevard near the monument to Sergei Yesenin. Every day there are workshops on painting flower pots and creating Easter wreaths and boutonnieres of fresh flowers.
Everyone can attend a culinary master class. Four culinary schools work at the festival at once — on Tverskaya Square, in Novopushkinsky Square, in Klimentovsky Lane and on Novy Arbat. The best chefs of Moscow and authors of cookbooks will teach you how to cook deliciously and help you master professional techniques of decorating dishes. For example, decoration techniques with mastic, glaze and openwork coating of baking with chocolate.
A charity project "The City of Goodness" is working on Pushkin Square. Concerts and theatrical productions from various creative collectives take place here every day. A variety of artists participate in them, including people with disabilities. In addition to concerts and performances, dance therapy classes are held here, and in the last days of the festival, on April 22 and 23, the therapeutic sports site "Dream Skis" will work. Videos". For history lovers, eight exhibitions are open at once at the festival, created jointly with museums and educational centers. At the exhibitions, you can learn about theatrical Moscow, see antique Easter cards and old recipes, learn about the history of Moscow patrons or about lost bell towers.
For example, ten mock-ups of bells were placed on Pushkin Square, Novopushkinsky Square and Tverskoy Boulevard. The weight of each is about 350 kilograms. Igor Konovalov became the main consultant during the creation of this exhibition. According to his sketches, in particular, the heavy bells of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra and all the bells of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior were cast.
You can also hear live music at the festival venues. Concerts are held daily in Stoleshnikov Lane, and on weekends also on Tverskaya Square and Novy Arbat. Genres are very diverse: folk, classical, retro…
