"Sorry, there are only seats left in the middle" — anyone who checks in for a flight is afraid to hear this phrase. And a girl named Rebecca Andrews was "lucky" to hear her. She had to spend the next 23 hours on the spot in the middle of the row. What could be worse? A bad-smelling neighbor? A crying baby? Rebecca decided to complicate her life on her own — to plunge into the atmosphere of the 70s, when there were no players, laptops and smartphones. And the only way to entertain yourself was to smoke, drink and talk to a neighbor.

For everyone who grew up embracing gadgets, giving them up is tantamount to suicide. But Rebecca Andrews decided that a 23-hour flight was perfect for such an experiment. The girl decided to write down all her impressions. As soon as Rebecca came on board, she noticed several things for herself: it was very warm in the cabin, passengers immediately put on headphones and did not pay attention to the safety lecture, people coughed a lot during the first hour of the flight.
Rebecca decided to ask the stewardess for wine, but she was refused because the plane had not yet taken off. Since there was nothing to occupy herself with, she took the magazine and read it carefully from cover to cover, but it ended before takeoff.

At the 90th minute of the flight, food is finally brought.

Four hours after the start of the flight, the lights were dimmed, many passengers fell asleep.

On the way back, Rebecca repeated her experiment. The results are the same.
