27-year-old Kate McClure was traveling to Philadelphia to visit a friend. She ran out of gas right in the middle of the road. Kate got nervous and was very scared. And Johnny noticed it.

At that moment, Kate didn't have the cash to give to Johnny. But she returned to this place several times to give the homeless man money, clothes and food. Kate said that she was very impressed by the fact that Johnny shared these things with his homeless friends.
Kate decided to do something more for the kind homeless. She started a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe.com . The initial goal was to raise $10,000, but the amount was rapidly increasing.

"I'm really sorry that I can't do more for this selfless person who helped me on the road back then," Kate wrote. She has already managed to raise $291,082.

"He is very interested in finding a job. I believe that if he has a place where he can live, he will return to normal life."
Before getting into a difficult situation, Johnny served in the Marines, was a paramedic and a firefighter. He wants to get a job at an Amazon warehouse in Robbinsville. A representative of the company has already stated that he can help in getting a job.
