Bogdan Kravchuk is the first graduate of a higher educational institution in Ukraine with a diagnosis of Down syndrome. But this guy keeps breaking patterns. Only he got a diploma, and now he got a job: he was taken to the Volyn Museum of Education, where he will be an assistant guide.

Bogdan graduated from the Faculty of History of the Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University and received a bachelor's degree. Moreover, the young man's academic performance was envied by many fellow students.

Bogdan was a little let down by philosophy, which he did not like too much. But Kievan Rus, the history of the Cossacks, modern history have always aroused the young man's interest.

That is why Bogdan got a job at the Volyn Museum of Education at the Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education. Here the guy will receive about 2 thousand hryvnias (about 5 thousand rubles), but money in this case is not the main thing, because now Bogdan will have the opportunity to feel like a full-fledged member of society.

The head of the museum, Alla Yankovenko, says that already now the young man gets along well with colleagues and visitors.

Bogdan's working day starts at 9:30 am. His mother drives him to his place of work, he overcomes part of the way on his own.

Therefore, for now, Bogdan's main task is to learn material on the history of Volyn education. To do this, the guy was given two books — "The History of education of Ukraine" and "Lutsk Kresto-Vozdvizhenskoe Brotherhood". After that, he will be able to decide on the type of his activity.

The rector of the Institute of Postgraduate Education, Pyotr Oleshko, who hired Bogdan, says that he did it for humanistic reasons. In addition, the adaptation of a special subordinate is among the tasks of the institute.

Oleshko once saw how they work with such employees abroad, and was impressed.

Bogdan's mother is very worried about how his future will turn out at work, whether he will be accepted in the team and whether there will be any difficulties. But the guy is very optimistic and ready to learn. We just have to wish him success at his first workplace!
