The first full-length movie without porn appeared on Pornhub

For the first time in the history of Pornhub released not pornographic materials, but a documentary. However, it also has an erotic background. The new film tells the story of a lesbian strip club and a subculture that originated in Los Angeles. It talks about the black dancers of the Shakedown Angels show.

Pornhub, one of the most popular adult resources in the world, is striving to expand its content line and turn into a full-fledged streaming service. This is evidenced by the fact that on March 4, 2020, the company presented its first non-pornographic film project.

According to Variety, we are talking about a documentary called "Shakedown", which is described as "not an artistic narrative about homosexual women and men, visitors to a lesbian strip club in Los Angeles." The project is assembled from episodes that were filmed by director Leilah Weinraub for 15 years, and offers the viewer "a humorous, sensual and informative look at this vibrant subculture."

Pornhub stated that the executives want to be perceived as a platform that creative people can use and thanks to this film they will be able to attract new artists.The documentary is already available on the porn site — and this is the case when it is quite possible to leave a link to it. Throughout March, it will be broadcast there for free, then it will be released on the Criterion channel, and in the summer — on iTunes.

With the help of the painting, Weinraub hopes to attract more female audiences to Pornhub. Together with the company's developers, the artist also created an online platform for the project. A chat will be available on it, where Weinraub will visit once a week to chat with users.

The artist has already collaborated with Pornhub in 2016, when she headed the streetwear brand Hood by Air. Then the brand developed official products and clothes for Pornhub and included them in its autumn collection.
