The death of a murderer: one of the most notorious maniacs of the 20th century has died in the United States

One of the most violent maniacs in America, died in prison at the age of 77. We used to write about the infamous Rodney Alcala, who killed seven women and raped a 12-year-old girl. In 2010, he was sentenced to death, but the killer did not wait for him. The history of his crimes is horrifying, because no one even suspected that a serial killer was hiding behind the personality of a charismatic photographer. 

Rodney Alcala died of natural causes in a California hospital last Thursday. He was called the "killer from the "Dating Game"", since he participated in this popular American show in 1978. On the air then, Alcala was presented as a successful photographer.

In 2016, the criminal was accused of murdering 28-year-old Christina Thornton. She was six months pregnant when she disappeared in 1978. The woman's body was found only four years later. 

The maniac was sentenced to death for the abduction, rape and murder of seven women and an underage girl. The court sessions were held several times due to the emergence of new facts about the bloody cases of Alcala. It is suspected that, in fact, about 130 people in different cities of the United States became victims of the maniac. 

The pervert raped, strangled and took the jewelry of the murdered women as trophies. Before leaving the crime scene, he photographed the bodies of his victims.

Rodney Alcala was transferred to the Corcoran State Prison in California when he was almost at death's door. In his last days, the criminal was in an insane mental state.
