The cat was doused with acid, but he did not lose faith in people

In June, some evil person poured acid on the head of a friendly cat, which caused the animal to lose an eye. He was a street cat who lived in the California desert and just wanted some food, love and affection. For several days he wandered, dying of pain, until a kind woman found him on the porch and took him to the vet. But the suffering of the unfortunate cat did not end there…

Some kind woman found him on her porch and immediately took him to the vet.

An incompetent doctor simply gave the animal antibiotics, checked for immunodeficiency and offered to put the cat to sleep.

Then the woman who brought him to the clinic contacted Milo's charity shelter for cats with special needs (Milo's Sanctuary for cats with special needs).

For more than a month, Tommy lived on antibiotics, painkillers and with sugar compresses that helped the wound to heal. He also had a skin graft.

"Despite all this, Tommy was very brave, purring and kissing the people who took care of him," the shelter's website says.

Although his friendliness almost cost the cat his life, he still loves people and trusts them.

Now Tommy is under the care of the orphanage, and anyone can sponsor his treatment.
