The artist, who was teased for being overweight, painted Disney princesses with luxurious shapes

Disney princesses have long been an example for many girls and girls who watch cartoons and love their main characters. "I've been teased for my appearance all my life… Like most, I thought I had to lose weight to become a full—fledged member of society," she told the publication Bustle. Buxom Jonkel Norwood believes that Disney cartoons and the media environment as a whole lack a variety of shapes and figures, which influenced her as a child.

The artist decided to present her favorite heroines as fashionable and modern women with realistic shapes. Each princess has her own style. "I dressed them in outfits inspired by wonderful brands that are designed for large-sized consumers. For example, Snow White is wearing a Layne Bryant bomber jacket and a Society+ top. And Ariel is wearing a dress that looks like a real Courtney Noelle dress."

Another common feature of the Jonkel princesses is their love of glamour. Despite the unique outfits, all the princesses are real socialites in heels, jewelry and with perfect makeup.
