Our good friends, National Geographic Russia magazine, have announced the launch of the annual Wildlife of Russia photo contest. This year it is held for the ninth time and, as always, the works of the participants can be seen on the publication's website nat-geo.ru . Hurry up! The works are accepted until September 30, 2019 and there are especially many people who want to participate this year!

We have already told you more than once about the contest "Wild Nature of Russia", which differs from others in that only pictures of natural, wild nature participate in it. The event is traditionally democratic — not only professionals, but also amateurs can exhibit their works here.

Participation in the contest is a great chance for beginners to declare themselves at a fairly high level, as it attracts the attention of photographers and nature lovers from all over the world. This year, the contest accepts images taken in the vast expanses of Russia on the following topics:

As you can see, the choice of categories is more than worthy and the scope for creativity is as extensive as ever. Both adult photographers and children, for whom a separate category has been created, can participate in the Wild Nature of Russia contest. Each participant has the right to offer no more than 10 of their works.

In 2019, the competition from National Geographic Russia also included a special nomination — "Perfection from Nature". It was offered to the organizers of the competition by the world-famous Subaru Forester brand. In this category, works dedicated to the perfection of nature, its creations thought out to the smallest detail will be considered. This nomination exists in parallel with the main ones, so everyone has a chance, in addition to official prizes, to receive a special award from a Japanese car manufacturer.

Hurry up! An authoritative jury will determine the winners at the end of October and the best photographer will get the main prize — 300,000 rubles! The distinguished ones will also take part in a solemn ceremony that National Geographic Russia will organize in December in the center of Moscow.
