To collect data, an online study was conducted, in which more than 27 thousand respondents from 159 states took part.
The questionnaire consisted of 27 questions divided into three categories: economy (economic stability, salary level, career prospects), personal experience (security, proximity to indigenous people, diversity of culture) and family (social benefits, quality of education, attitude of local children to peers of other nationalities). The index of well-being of countries for visitors was calculated on the basis of these three sub-indices.

10th place — United Arab Emirates
The UAE attracts a large number of people with high professional qualifications. Mainly from Europe and Southeast Asia. Residents of poor countries of the Middle East also come here to work on numerous construction sites. Three quarters of respondents reported that they earn significantly more in the UAE than at home.
9th place — Austria
Austria has identical indicators of the personal experience and economic sub—indices - 0.56. And the relatively low family index is 0.44. More than a third of respondents believe that their children in Austria have problems with socialization.
8th place — Sweden
In Sweden, according to the data received, it is especially pleasant to create a family and raise children. In general, this is typical of all Northern European countries. Last year, Sweden was the leader in this regard, but now the Netherlands has come out on top.
7th place — Australia
Emigrants move to Australia mainly for the sake of sunny weather and good career prospects. But there are other reasons to settle on the Green Continent. 34 percent of respondents are satisfied with how their social life is developing, and 75 percent feel that they have adequately integrated into the local culture (the global average is 64 percent).
6th place — Canada
Newly-born residents of Canada describe the country as stable, safe and welcoming. According to 76 percent of respondents, their homeland is much less tolerant than Canada.
5th place — Netherlands
As already mentioned, almost ideal conditions for family life have been created in Holland. Three-quarters of respondents are sure that their children easily find a common language with their peers and receive a quality education in schools and higher educational institutions.
4th place — Germany
Germany was in third place in terms of economy and fifth in terms of family well-being (0.65 and 0.5, respectively). And, probably, she would have topped the overall rating, if not for the failure in the category of personal experience — only the 16th place.
3rd place — New Zealand
In no other country do visitors feel such support from indigenous people as in New Zealand. In addition, many immigrants are close to the local culture.
2nd place — Norway
Norway is traditionally good on all three indicators. Economic prosperity is the second place, personal experience is the sixth, family well—being is the fourth.
1st place — Singapore
Expats have been calling Singapore the best country for resettlement for three years in a row. By almost all criteria, Singapore's ratings are higher than the global average. For example, 26 percent of respondents agreed that local education is "excellent". Despite the fact that the average worldwide figure does not exceed 10 percent.
