Special Forces of the world: whose standards are tougher?

Iron abs, biceps, strong-willed chin and endurance-these are the four factors that unite the general idea of special forces soldiers. At least, several hundred respondents agree on this, who were asked the question :" What does a special forces soldier look like?".

There is a hidden error in the question itself: people were not asked what kind of special forces. "Alfa", MTR of the Russian Federation, SAS? Russia or France, Great Britain or Hong Kong? Or maybe the author of the study was interested in the standards of physical training?

Then it was necessary to divide the contract armies and the armies of states with a conscription system and introduce women's standards, since there are quite a lot of girls in, for example, the Israeli army. Let's go from simple to complex: from the standard of physical training of a soldier to a maroon beret.

Special Forces of the world: whose standards are tougher?

A special forces soldier must pull himself up at least 25 times, do push-ups on his fists a hundred times, strengthening the force of gravity with his weight on his own back, press — 300 times. In running for a distance of eight kilometers, a candidate for a special unit must meet in 38 minutes. At the same time, it is necessary to run in equipment weighing 20 kilos.

In seven seconds, you need to climb the rope to a height of seven meters, swim 50 meters under water. If the swim ends safely, the fighter's hands will be tied and once again immersed in the water.

For a change, candidates run on roofs, climb down drainpipes, and their reaction to emergency situations is checked by our smaller brothers. Basically, these are dogs specially trained to attack people. They are released to see how aggressive the candidate is, how quickly he can react and find a way out.

The SEAL unit - "Navy seals" — is the main tactical unit of the Special Operations Forces of the US Navy. They report directly to the Special Operations Command of the US Armed Forces and are created for reconnaissance, sabotage, search and rescue operations and other tasks. The selection of candidates for the" seals " is made from volunteers not younger than 18 and not older than 28 years.

Fighters are taught to spend most of their time in the water in all weather conditions. And then everyone is waiting for a "hell week". With American pedantry, they call only five working days a week, during which the cadets sleep for only four hours — perhaps standing up to their necks in a swamp overgrown with mud.

The loads increase day by day until they reach a peak. In the most disgusting weather, the cadets go into the ocean several times, then spend twenty minutes on the shore in the wind and dive back into the water. After that, they will run for a distance of four miles in no more than 32 minutes.

Any weakness is punished by push-ups in a chain and another dive into the ocean. The result of the week of hell is a dropout. Half of the cadets give up and say goodbye to the dream of serving in the "navy seals". Here are such non-lazy American water specialists.

"Reconnaissance Squad 10" is the pride of the Swiss army. Here we see a tolerant attitude to age: absolutely any citizen of the country can apply for membership in the detachment. Naturally, having passed the standards.

Push-ups in the prone position-fifty times; squats a little more-60. Ten pull-ups are generally enough. And no potholes and ditches: cross-country running is quite simple: five kilometers in 24 minutes.

I did it-well done, welcome to the march-throw. The full combat layout here is less than a pood — only fifteen kilograms. But it is also necessary to run eight kilometers with them in 58 minutes. With a load of 25 kilograms, they run a distance equal to the weight of the cargo. After 3.5 hours, the observers are no longer waiting for those who have gone on the route. This is ballast, and the reconnaissance squad does not need it.

Swimming is also present in the regulations. Simple — wearing glasses and swimming trunks. Without any berets and duffel bags. Three hundred meters in ten minutes: beauty, not a standard.

The experience of recruiting for the South African Recce intelligence unit is quite interesting. First of all, the fighters are checked for mental stability, and everything else is already following. Maybe that's why the standards are quite humane.

You can do push-ups forty times, sit down 67 times without a time limit. In the equipment, it is enough to run three kilometers and overcome a three-meter wall. But the readiness to serve is checked by hunger and cold, if the latter, of course, is applicable to the conditions of the South African republic. Candidates are not allowed to eat and sleep for several days. And this test becomes the main obstacle to joining the group.

The krapovy beret is the dream of a Russian special forces fighter. The French Legion also has its own elite, marked with a beret. However, to get a beret in Russia and in France, you need to make different efforts. It is enough for a French legionnaire to pull up four times, have healthy teeth and a little intelligence, but the tests for the Russians were not invented by a person.

Twelve kilometers of cross-country running, twelve minutes of hand — to-hand combat, descending from the fifth floor without a ladder with a machine gun and a grenade that must be used during the flight, crossing a swamp, saving a comrade bleeding, and, as an apotheosis, conscription dances. In the exam sheet, this is called a test for flexibility and plasticity.

And only after passing all the points from " a " to "z", the fighter will be able to get down on one knee and accept the shrine from the hands of an older comrade. A record of this will be made in the military ticket and, seeing a fighter in such a beret, be sure that you are completely safe next to him. The elite, the pride of Russia — that's what a krapovy beret is.

Special Forces of the world: whose standards are tougher?

Of course, not all the standards of the armies of the world are presented in this code. By and large, they differ quantitatively and qualitatively, but they pursue one goal: only the strong in spirit and physically strong serve in special forces.

To keep yourself in shape, especially if you want to join the ranks of domestic special forces, we recommend that you strive for these indicators:

Cross-country running: three kilometers in no more than 10 minutes and 30 seconds;

Complex strength exercise seven cycles in a row, no more than 40 seconds each cycle:

That's all. Remember, everything is only in your hands. Successful achievement of the set goals!
