The police brought the kitten to the station, but did not know what to do with it. "I don't know why they didn't want to take it, but I offered to take it," Garrett said. His cat, Toothless, took care of four kittens at home. Garrett thought she could take in an abandoned kitten. He took the foundling and put it in a box to take home.

The kitten had obvious digestive problems, so Garrett named him Squirt. The goner is half the size of Toothless's kittens, who are about four weeks old. Toothless quickly adopted this little ball of fur as her own child. And now Garrett has a happy little gang of cats in his house.
