Whether you are planning to turn your attic into a bedroom, office, or bathroom, we have some inspiring ideas for you ...

Don't let clumsy ceilings and small spaces distract you from your attic remodel. With a little instruction, you can transform your attic room into the most stylish and unusual room in your home.

If you're fortunate enough to have a large loft, add an extra bedroom to accommodate guests or your growing family. If your attic is smaller, why not use the space for an extra bathroom, storage space, or home office?

One of the best things about attics is the abundance of natural light that can be exploited by opening the roof and adding skylights. Add a sense of space and airiness by painting the walls in light colors and minimizing furniture and clutter.

Make the most of antiques, such as wood beams and floorboards, and add a rustic feel to your room.

Whether you are planning to use the attic as a bedroom, office, bathroom, or something completely different, we have a few ideas that are sure to inspire you ...

The Taganskie Domiki Architectural and Construction Workshop will help you with the reconstruction of the attic.

1. Build a secluded study.

Where is it better to have a study than in an attic, away from the noise and distractions of home life downstairs? When placing furniture, work with the slope of the ceiling using the highest space in the middle.

2. Create a cozy bathroom.

Use dramatic wallpaper for a bright loft. Wallpapering just one wall creates focus without cluttering up a small space. The effect is particularly striking in this attic bathroom, where the end wall is triangular. An interesting wall shape, combined with striking wallpaper and a dark-colored freestanding bathtub, creates a luxurious setting and an ideal place to relax and unwind.

3. Select a built-in wardrobe.

If you're converting an attic into a bedroom, smart storage solutions are essential. Make custom built-in wardrobes that fit perfectly to one end of the room, and use the same light wood on the wardrobe doors and on the floor to make the room appear more spacious. A huge skylight is placed right in the center of the roof, allowing light to enter every corner of the spacious room.

4. Create a multipurpose space.

This beautifully converted loft combines a comfortable seating area with a walk-in closet and storage space. The attic is the perfect place to store all of your belongings while leaving the rest of your home cluttered, but there is no excuse for a messy attic with wonderful storage solutions like this. A woven hessian rug complements wicker accents for storing things in this room.

5. Place your growing family.

As your family grows, you can start to outgrow your home, and this is where the attic comes in handy. Why move if you can go up? Place a single bed under a sloped ceiling with the headboard higher in the room. To save space, fix your work lights on the wall. Built-in storage is the perfect way to keep your room tidy!

6. Use a small space.

As this cleverly designed small bathroom demonstrates, no loft is too small for a makeover. Keep walls and panels light colors to create the illusion of space and buy a freestanding bathtub to maximize that illusion. Install skylights to brighten the room and make sure you have a good ventilation system.

7. Use space wisely.

This attic room makes good use of what would otherwise be dead space by tucking shelves and drawers under the sloped wall. Use this storage for games and DVDs or winter scarves and gloves, whichever is the most disturbing in your home!

8. Feel the femininity.

The combination of floral print fabrics and real foliage makes the loft look beautiful and feminine. The beamed ceiling has been whitewashed to add a feminine country theme, and pale colors make a well-lit room bright and light.
