Richard Silver is a professional photographer born and raised in New York City. In his project "New York, cut into slices", he took about 25-30 photos of one building for about 1.5 hours. The pictures were taken at sunset, and Silver carefully selected about 55-60 famous buildings for his project. Work on the project began in 2010, and since then Silver has photographed 25 skyscrapers. The frames are separated by vertical stripes, in each of which we see how the building changes over time when the sun goes below the horizon.
