By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/skypixel-winners-announced-the-best-photos-taken-by-drones.htmlEvery year, the SkyPixel team looks for the best photos taken by drones and awards the winners with very cool prizes. This year's winner, Derik Baumgertner, for example, received camera equipment worth $12,090 (785,000 rubles) for a magical shot of Mount Saint Michael, which is located in Normandy, France. The winners in the other categories are in our selection.
The mountain, visited by three million people annually, is a unique place in itself, and this photo presents it in an even steeper form! Derik Baumgertner himself says that he had no idea that he could be among the nominees of this prestigious competition, and even more so, become a winner.
Derik has been interested in aerial photography since the first DJI Phantom camera entered the market in 2013. Now he has a DJI Mavic Pro 1 camera and he is very pleased with both its functionality and the size that allows him to take it on trips.
