Novosibirsk 42-year-old businessman Evgeny Fedorchenko has opened a two-storey fitness center in the city of Chulym, Novosibirsk region. To do this, Yevgeny bought the building of an unfinished store from the 80s and made a sports center "Charging" out of it.

On the ground floor of the building there is a center for the provision of state and municipal services and the future office of Sberbank. On the second floor there is a fitness center with a total area of about 1000 sq. m. 15 million rubles were invested in the completion of the building, and the "filling" cost another 10 million. For this project, the businessman took a 10-million loan, which he plans to repay in 5 years. Evgeny admits that he will also take funds from his second business — the indoor market, which he built in Chulym earlier.

The "Charging" has everything: a gym for strength training, running simulators, a fitness room, there is a place for wrestlers, fans of hand-to-hand combat and boxing. And this is all in the city, says Fedorchenko, where there is no centralized hot water supply and commercial baths.

It appeared on the site of an ordinary rural bazaar with a wooden toilet of the "birdhouse" type. This business is almost ten years old, and it is already generating revenue. However, in the first two years, about 30 million rubles were invested in the market. In the following — annually 3-5 million of own funds from the current revenue.

Chulym is a city where all the houses are private, but there are a few old two—story buildings

A little later, he says that there is still an idea to open a banquet hall for a hundred seats in the city and show in the fitness center in the evenings after the cinema closes. The only cinema in Chulym, according to Yevgeny, was closed, as collective screenings turned into collective drunkenness, and where there is drunkenness, there is debauchery. But Evgeny hopes to overcome this trend.
