The expedition of the Russian Geographical Society started from Norilsk on January 13. The journey of a thousand kilometers to the village of Dixon, the northernmost continental settlement in the world, took 10 days. Every day has become a test of strength for the team and its cars.
All participants are experienced travelers: the head and organizer of the project Bogdan Bulychev (Yaroslavl), the famous Arctic traveler and author of the project Alexander Elikov (Novy Urengoy), photographer and videographer Anton Panov (Magadan), the operator of the TV channel "Avto24" Igor Melnik (Moscow), as well as travelers and responsible navigators Evgeny Shatalov (Chelyabinsk) and Dmitry Lapshin (Sevastopol).
The participants of the expedition traveled more than a thousand kilometers through the snow and ice of the Yenisei and the Kara Sea and experienced all the Arctic delights.
We are not exaggerating when we say that we have to dig a lot. While some are warming themselves, others are digging and so on, until you get your faithful #toyotahilux out of the snow trap! One of the most important acquisitions in this expedition were shovels from @fiskars_russia, it's hard to imagine what the guys would have done without them #fiskars #fiskarsrussia #shovelfiskars #travel #rgoexpo #hilux #toyotahilux #pickuphero #toyota #toyotarussia #toyota #hella #hellacis #opportunity to manifest yourself #maxxisrussia #redfox # redfoxoutdoor #fiskarsrussia #tplus #midland

In this weather, travelers spent the night in a 6-bed tent, and drivers slept in cars. On the way they met polar bears and three nuclear icebreakers.
During the Arctic expedition, Anton Panov captured on video how one of the largest nuclear icebreakers, the Taimyr, splits the ice at the mouth of the Yenisei at -50 °C.
On the way to Dixon, we met the Taimyr, a nuclear icebreaker designed to guide ships to the mouths of Siberian rivers. A huge machine. Even on the approaches to us, the ice began to shake. And when I came up, it was so cool that words are hard to describe! #Yenisei #Icebreaker #Atomic Icebreaker #RosAtomFlot #ROSATOM #Taimyr #Dixon #expedition #travel #rgoexpo #toyota #toyotarus #opportunity to manifest yourself #redfox #redfoxoutdoor
