"Olga" is considered the best series because it has the highest ratings among all television series since the beginning of 2016. At least such data was provided in 2019. Social studies show that a third of the inhabitants of our country from 14 to 44 years old have watched the series. And that's a lot!

Olga has a lot of secrets. For example, the story itself about a simple Russian woman, a single mother with a troubled drinking father and no less problematic children, turned out to be "popular" for our country. Typical Russian everyday life is served here naturalistically to the degree of art-house. The first season was called "art-house" even by critics. Life was so accurately depicted, the familiar, not at all serial truth of life was so sincerely presented.

The actors themselves were also art-house. The main role of the series starred a brilliant theater actress Yana Troyanova, who has recognition in In Russia and abroad. Before the series, she was known only by fans of theater and author's cinema: the wife and favorite actress of Vasily Sigarev, she often appears in his dark dramas and is familiar to the viewer as a strong and deep art-house actress. After the role of Olga Troyanova, the whole country began to recognize her, and directors and colleagues in the workshop called her a real comedic actress.

Another artist who surprised the cinematic beau monde with her appearance in the folk series is Rosa Khairullina. She is considered one of the most stylish and original actresses of the country, as well as the favorite of the same unusual master Konstantin Bogomolov. Her character turned out to be hilariously funny and sometimes even surreal. So surreal that, just like Olga, he directly hit the bullseye of modern Russian reality.

Ksenia Surkova, who played Anya, repainted and grew her hair for the series. In an interview, she said that she studied the manners of girls like Anya specifically. The young actress got so used to the role that they believed her. It is not soon that a girl from an intelligent family with a good theatrical education got used to the fact that teenagers easily approach her on the street and in the subway, they do not perceive her as an actress and offer "a beer".

In later seasons, the series was joined by more "pop", but more familiar to Russians Gosha Kutsenko and Pavel Maikov. After the birth of a daughter from the same couple, the director could not find a baby for permanent filming. As a result, the baby was played by three children in turn. The appearance of children on the set delighted the film crew. Someone was constantly coddling them and creating the most comfortable conditions.

The mink fur coat in which Olga carved the famous word was real. They cut it with the whole film crew — high-quality fur did not give in in any way. The process greatly upset the actresses of the extras, who considered the filmmakers vandals and for a long time could not forgive them for such treatment of a valuable thing.

In the summer of 2019, the SMISHNIKI trumpeted that "Olga" was returning. However, the announcement turned out to be only a repeat of the series. For the second time, all seasons were shown until the end of 2019. There is no fourth season in open sources. Whether there will really be a sequel is not yet clear. But the people's love for "Olga" is still hot.
