Scientists from the USA conducted a serious study in order to determine the common features of modern activaccinators. They studied the attitude to vaccinations against COVID-19 in the four largest cities of the country, as well as at the national level. The information received will help to carry out the vaccination campaign more effectively and eliminate the factors that cause a negative attitude to vaccinations.

In the course of surveys, researchers found that 84% of U.S. adults are confident that the coronavirus is dangerous to health and life. At the same time, among the citizens, this figure was 82.3-90.4%. 25.8% of respondents do not agree that the danger of the virus exceeds the danger from vaccines.

One in five Americans does not believe that a pandemic can be defeated with vaccines. The most skeptical were people with conservative views. Despite this, 72.9% of respondents agreed that the developers of vaccination drugs are doing an important job and reported that they trust them.

The majority of respondents agreed that the heads of companies and educational institutions have the right to demand vaccination from employees and students. But there were fewer supporters of mandatory vaccination among conservatives. Those who have been vaccinated or are planning to be vaccinated in the near future consider it important to complete the campaign as soon as possible and return life in the country to its usual course.

The least willing to be vaccinated were among low-income people both in cities and across the country. Conservative political views are also more negative about vaccinations — 26.7% of them. Liberals among anti-vaccinators are much less — 10.9%.
