But recent studies have shown that just exhausting classes in a fitness club can negatively affect male strength and lead to disappointments in sexual life.
Now the members of the "Dusty Dumbbells" club can calm down and no longer think about buying a gym membership. A study conducted by a group of scientists from the University of North Carolina led by Professor Anthony Hackney found that a healthy body does not always have a healthy libido.
The study involved 1,100 men who regularly attend gyms. They were asked about the types of training, loads and intimate details of their personal life. The participants were kept anonymous, so there is no point in doubting their sincerity.
As a result, it was found that guys who believe that a good workout should be exhausting, on the verge of human capabilities, had a very poor sex life. But they were not even too upset about it, since their libido was greatly lowered and the deplorable state of things suited them quite well.
But even having decided to have sex, such athletes could not impress their partners with male strength and endurance, since among them there were most men with reduced erectile function and premature ejaculation. Athletes turned out to be the most frequent and welcome guests of andrologists, sex therapists and psychologists.
It turns out that the development of muscles, as a way to fight on the spot beautiful ladies, has discredited itself, and even if a sports figure gives advantages when meeting, then in the future there is a great chance of disappointment. Dr. Anthony Hackney believes that the exhaustion of the body with exercises is to blame for everything, because of which the production of the most important male hormone testosterone falls.
More recently, it was believed that it is sports activities that stimulate the release of hormones, including testosterone. This is partly true, but Hackney warns that everything is fine in moderation. It is not easy to find the line beyond which training begins to bring harm, but if you practice in moderation, the effect will only be positive.
