The animal rights activist, who wrote a statement to the prosecutor's office, claims that Agazhanov's actions fall under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Fraud").

Sometimes pet owners do not have the opportunity to take care of their sick pets properly, so they decide on a procedure of euthanasia to save them from suffering.
