Sean Conway, 34, is the first person to swim, cycle and run the length of the United Kingdom in a fantasy triathlon. This year, he left the Scottish village of John O'Groats in March and arrived at the rocky headland of Land's End in Cornwall on May 3, covering a thousand miles - that's about 1609 kilometers. In 2008, he started his triathlon by cycling all over Britain (more than two thousand kilometers), and two years ago Sean became the first person to swim from one end of the country to the other - along the coast of Cornwall, Wales and Scotland, this is about 1448 kilometers . The total distance of the triathlon track is about 5150 kilometers.

The distance Sean ran this time is 38 consecutive marathons. He carried all his equipment and slept in a tent all the way. “There were no easy days. I think only three days out of forty everything went according to plan and there were no injuries, problems with food, water and sleep, ”recalls Sean.

Sean says that since Manchester he covered about 48 kilometers a day. During the journey, he encountered snow, wind and a burning sun, which he talked about on his Twitter. From time to time, different people joined Sean - as in the movie "Forrest Gump", where the main character fled for more than three years across the United States of America. “Those were the moments when I found faith in humanity,” Sean says.

Attention! On March 6 and 13 at 22:00 on the Discovery Channel, watch the program: "Sean Conway: Running through Britain"
