Promiscuous relationships at the Second VKontakte Festival

Surely you have wondered: why are so many festivals being organized today? In our opinion, everything is very simple — so that people communicate with each other more! Do you remember how eight years ago you first registered in VKontakte? A wall, a personal account, groups, megabytes of music that suddenly appeared in front of your eyes. And the main thing is communication.

We all immediately found our classmates, former, present, friends from the kindergarten group and spent a lot of time searching for that boy from the neighboring yard with whom we played cakes many years ago. I think his name was Vasya... connections in all their diversity captured us.

And then, when did the smartphone app come out? In 2010, MegaFon was the first to announce its release, along with soothing messages like "Yes, VKontakte is aware." And immediately the connections became more extensive and stronger.

For the second time in many years of its existence, VKontakte entered the real world in the park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg. The organizers showed what a steel connection is. Fashion and beauty workshops emphasized the direct link between appearance and success. Here hung those for whom the most important part of the VKontakte page is the one in the upper left corner.

Since the moment when esports was recognized as an official sport in Russia, gaming connections have also become important. A whole tent was dedicated to games at the fest. In the process of comic battles in jenga or domino, you don't want to, but you have to contact someone.

All sorts of accessories at VKfest were also "about communication". Here are the representatives of the RFU calling Mutko to invite him to the festival.

The connection between real and fictional, superheroes and beautiful girls, cosplayers and ordinary people — choose what you like best. Hundreds of representatives of fictional worlds came to the festival and hugged everyone.

Secondly, MegaFon installed a mobile base station on the territory of VKfest, which distributed Internet with telephone communication right and left. Such stations are often used at large-scale festivals where a powerful signal is required. With this super machine, 1,500 users can go online at the same time and the end of the world will not come. As a result, subscribers pumped almost a thousand gigabytes of Internet traffic in two days.

At the festival, the guys launched a really stormy activity.

Everyone has dreamed at least once that all their favorite memes would become a reality. MegaFon has made dreams come true by opening a real museum of memes. There you will find a Stoned fox, and a live wedding witness from Fryazino. About 50,000 people visited the museum in two days, and 5,000 photos from the pavilion were posted online. Literally gave memes a second life.

Sometimes it seems that our politicians live in a completely different world. Their words can be extremely difficult to connect with reality. At the festival, politics and ordinary people "contacted" in a very simple and understandable format — "selfie with Milonov".
