Scott Rhea was born and raised in Louisiana, enjoying all the cultural trappings of the redneck state. Spending his childhood in the swamps catching and eating crabs, Scott gave his main creative outlet through music, which was his main source of income from the ages of 15-21. Scott was first introduced to photography in high school while working at his uncle's camera shop in Mississippi during the summer holidays. The camera quickly became his constant companion and tool for exploring an alternative view of the world.
Scott's early ambitions to become a fashion designer, coupled with a passion for photography, led Scott into the world of fashion photography. Since then, he has been living and working in Europe and the US, shooting advertising campaigns and materials for various publications. More recently, Scott has been focusing his attention on directing, mostly commercials. In 2008, his video for Puma was selected as one of the finalists of Spotlab's Group 101 project, which brings together commercial filmmakers. He is currently actively filming commercials and print campaigns.
