The world is beautiful and dangerous at the same time. With reports of rape on the rise, 22-year-old University of Iowa student Taylor Yocom decided to do a personal investigation: she took a series of photos of her classmates showing what items they take with them for self-defense. As it turned out, many of the girls rely on a bunch of keys or whistles, but there were also those who were equipped much more seriously.

This hot topic, despite the incredible technology and progress, unfortunately, is still relevant in the XXI century, and the fair sex is forced to resort to special measures.
