Portraits of strangers

Categories: World

Danny Santos took up photography a few years ago and took pictures of strangers on the streets of Singapore every weekend. "When I go out on the streets, I often meet faces that make me turn around. Faces that involuntarily stand out from the crowd. Faces that are not like the others. These are very different faces — from exquisitely beautiful to strangely unusual. I started asking these strangers if I could take a picture of them. Some refused, but most agreed. Having made their portrait, I thanked them and left. I didn't ask their names, or where they came from, or what they do, because I wanted you to see them the same way I did: beautiful strangers."
