Mexican photographer Josef Ibarr asked models to eat habanero pepper, which was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the hottest pepper in the world and followed the reaction. Surprisingly, you can see not only burning pain, but also pleasure on their faces

The Los Enchilados photo project is a kind of essay exploring the roots of Mexican food culture, which is distinguished by the incredible sharpness of dishes. In Mexico, there is nowhere without hot pepper. There are 64 types of chili peppers. Hot pepper and tortilla are the main ingredients in the gastronomic art of Mexico, as well as bread and wine in France. 

Eating hot peppers is a way to gain respect in Mexico. Chile is a metaphor for how Mexicans react to risk. This is an opportunity to show courage. Mexicans not only take this tradition seriously, they enjoy it.
