Photos that "blew up" the Internet

Photoshop or not? Sometimes it's hard to believe your eyes when looking at this or that photo. But in fact, it turns out that what is happening on it is quite real, because our world is so amazing and diverse.

We present you a selection of images that at different times shocked the worldwide network.

1 Shark Chasing A Kayak

In September 2005, Africa Geographic magazine published images of great white sharks off the coast of South Africa. Among them was this one, where a 4-meter predator pursues a kayak.

2. Pink dolphin

In June 2004, images of a pink bottlenose dolphin, an albino dolphin, swimming along a lake in Louisiana, appeared on the net. The pictures were taken by Captain Eric Roux.

This unique image was featured in a 2005 ABC North Queensland (Australia) newscast. A large olive python was trying to pull a kangaroo carcass out of the water. This picture was surrounded by a huge number of rumors, among which were such that it was not a kangaroo at all, but the most ordinary cow.

4. Trees after the accident

Forest after an accident at an aluminum plant in Hungary, a clear trace of the level of red mud is visible.

5. Airplane on approach to the World Trade Center

The September 11, 2001 attacks (often referred to simply as 9/11) were a series of coordinated suicide attacks that took place in the United States of America. According to the official version, the Islamist terrorist organization Al-Qaeda is responsible for these attacks.

6. Alligator with a deer in its mouth

In 2004, a photo of an alligator floating on Lake Cross in Louisiana with a carcass of a deer in its mouth appeared on the network. This photo shocked many lovers of fishing and relaxing on the lake. In fact, everything turned out to be much simpler. A US Fisheries spokesman said the photo was taken in southern Georgia by one of the employees.

7. Fire in Bitterroot National Park

2000 was a year of catastrophic fires for the US. On August 6, 2000, several fires broke out in Bitterroot National Park. Then fire analyst John McColgan captured in a photo the scene of several deer watching the fire.

8. Black deer

A photo of a rare black fawn hit the net in 2010. The photo was taken by photographer Richard Buqua, near Austin, Texas.

9. Multicolored twins

In February 2006, a number of British newspapers told their readers the story of two amazing twins of different races. Their parents also belong to different races, but the cases of the birth of such twins are extremely rare. According to the Daily Mail, the odds of such an event are 1 in a million.

10. Friendly whale

In 2009, photographer Marco Keral took incredible pictures of a female humpback whale during one of his dives in the South Pacific. This is one of the most famous photos taken by Marco. He successfully captured the moment one of his assistants successfully "greeted" a huge whale.

11. A huge wave is coming

A wave during the tsunami in Japan in 2011 approached the coast.

12. Goats on the dam

In September 2010, a series of pictures surfaced on the Internet showing a herd of bighorn sheep climbing the sheer wall of the Buffapo Bill Dam in Wyoming. After numerous disputes, it was found out that in such an original way the animals tried to extract salt from stones.

13. The entire Internet community was stirred up by this photo. The author claims that lightning struck the tree and the bark and branches fell from it.
