Thanks to films and cult songs, many people (especially men) have a somewhat romantic image of bikers as such harsh bearded men, free and fair, riding off into the sunset on wonderfully growling motorcycles.

Photographer Brian Overend decided to show what they really are, and went on a trip with a group of bikers, having traveled more than 1,100 kilometers across the United States. The photo tour route led from Los Angeles to the Mexican city of Ensenada. It is curious that bikers call this particular road El Diablo, which means "devil".

It's worth mentioning that motorcycles are in Brian's blood. He inherited a love of the dusty road and the scorching sun from his father and uncles, from time to time going on motorcycle trips with his friends.

One long, scorching day followed another, flowing smoothly into night as Brian and the bikers approached the south.

Of course, the road was not without unforeseen obstacles, such as, for example, a motorcycle breakdown.
